Google has updated its Calendar app to fix a bug that could cause a few users to lose access to their favourite bookmarked books and notes.
The update comes after Google’s latest Android app update, which also includes a new search bar and a new icon to indicate which books you are currently reading.
Google says it is aware of the problem and is looking into it.
“We’re currently working on a fix for the issue that may affect some users and are aware of an issue where some bookmarks might not be accessible to some users,” Google said in a blog post.
“The update will be rolled out to everyone on the latest version of the Google Calendar App in the coming days.
Please be patient and let us know if this causes any issues with your usage.”
The update also brings a few improvements to Google’s search engine.
It now allows users to search for books from other websites by the title of their book, rather than by the author name.
It also allows users of the Calendar app with their calendar app settings to switch between multiple calendars and to set their search engine and device preferences to show books by the same author.
It says it will continue to test and improve the app for more than a year.
