Unity has updated its social app to let you share photos and video with your friends, a feature that many have complained has been left out of the latest update.
The software maker has been quietly rolling out a number of new features to its software over the last few months, including a new avatar for users that allows users to add and share their photos and videos to the app.
Users will be able to share photos or videos in the game by going to Settings > Add New > Camera, and then choosing the avatar you want to share.
The new feature allows users in-game to send a friend a photo or video they’ve captured and upload it to the Unity’s social app, which will show up in the user’s profile picture.
When a friend uploads a photo from their camera, the image will appear on the friend’s profile page in the app, and they can see it when they log in to the game.
Users can also post their photos to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, as well as share them with friends through the game’s own camera app.
The update also introduces a new feature to the camera app called “Profile Photo”, which allows users who want to see their friends’ pictures in-engine to do so.
Users can then go to Settings >> Show Profile, and choose “Show photos from friends”.
The new camera feature lets users send photos from their phone to their friends without the need to open the app or wait for the app to load.
Users also get to see the photos that other users have shared in-between games, and it will also show up on the friends profile.
Users don’t need to be a Unity member to share their photo in-world.
The Unity software has been in beta for a number months now, and some of the biggest changes include improved sharing options and a new photo-sharing option that lets users share photos with friends.
The social app has also received a number other improvements over the past few months including a slew of new social features, like new avatar options, improved game mode and a revamped camera app that includes a new camera app for in-house use.
